The Company
This privately owned company is seeking an accomplished Accounts Officer to join their team. The role is within a fast paced head office environment to six supermarkets.
The Role
Working closely with the accountant and accounts team you will take responsibility for the importing of invoices and accurate General Ledger (GL) coding. Systems and methodical mindset required to manage the volume of invoices. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Import invoices and match to batch reports x 6 stores by day.
- Create excel spreadsheets with formulas and balance to batch reports.
- Date driven exporting of batch reports to accounting software (Attache).
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Follow up supplier invoices
- Collate paperwork from our stores to assist the accounts department.
- General administration.
- Assistance with phone answering.
Your Profile
The successful applicant will have 5+ years office experience with a sound understanding of general ledger coding and some accounting software experience. Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) is a must, and Attache experience highly regarded. Fitting in with this team in a relaxed however fast paced environment will mean you have a down to earth attitude, proven attention to detail and are a self motivated high achiever.
