We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join our team based in Glen Waverley. We’re looking for an energetic, driven and motivated individual to join our dynamic Commercial Team.
As a Commercial Analyst you will:
- Partner with various efm teams to drive a sustainable solution for new and/or existing business opportunities to ensure:
- Customer's objective have been met and illustrated accordingly
- Overlay with operational requirements, including sound carrier mix
- Profitability is maximised through negotiating carrier agreements and cost to serve on the account is considered and controlled
- Converting data, workflows and feedback into information via analytics, modelling, value-stream mapping and business cases to quantify the commercial impact of business decisions, and enabling stakeholders to drive improvements to their business
- Provide insights and actionable items as outcomes from projects
- Support procurement activities by presenting negotiation options that allow sustainability across all parties
- Keep abreast with market trends and emerging opportunities for solutions beneficial to efm and their customers
- Enhance processes and policies for both internal and external stakeholders where appropriate
The Candidate:
- 1+ year’s work experience in a pricing analyst role within a service business, preferably with a focus on Supply Chain Management
- Advanced financial modelling and data analysis, modelling, forecasting skills
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, BI and financial software applications
- Experience within a fast paced and demanding business environment
- Bachelor degree in either a Commerce or Supply Chain related field
