This position will report to Senior Finance Manager in Regional HQ. Handle all-round accounting matters in Australia - full-set of books, B/L, P&L, GL, etc. As they are only having a small team in Australia, will also help to coordinate the I/E logistic arrangement.

Our client is a European luxury retail brand, they are famous for their craftsmanship. They are new to Australia market and running a small team locally.

Description

Accounting

• Prepare asset, liability, revenues, expenses and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
• Preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Liaise and support with statutory auditors
• Provide the local tax consultants with all the necessary information for tax reporting and compliance
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

Import & Export

• Liaise with logistic provider for merchandise shipment import & export
• Allocation of import duty and transfer cost in SAP
• Coordinate ad hoc local deliveries

Office administration

• Store and office general procurement
• Maintenance of local retail and office supplier

Profile

• Degree holder in Accounting
• CA / CPA / ACCA qualification is a plus but not compulsory
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in International retail / FMCG company
• General knowledge of import & export documentation
• Familiar with SAP
• With high flexibility and problem-solving skills
• Organize and detailed mindset
• Able to work independently
