Agricultural producer requires a Bookkeeper to join their Sydney based operations
Your new company
Your new company is an agricultural producer with farms based in rural NSW. They have a corporate office based in Sydney’s CBD and this is where this role will be situated. This firm is an established business that is well regarded in the industry.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the General Manager with direction from the company Accountant, your new role will be Bookkeeper. This role will encompass the following duties:
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- GST Return
- Preparation of electronic payments
- Bank Reconciliation
- Inventory Reconciliation
- General office and administration duties
- Admin support to the General Manager
- This role will require one overnight visit to the site every 1-2 months.
This is a very diverse role on a permanent, part-time basis, 4 days per week.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have experience within the bookkeeping space and be able to perform all duties listed. You must be able to prioritise tasks, manage your time and have perfect communication skills. An understanding of agricultural systems would be beneficial. You must have full working rights in Australia.
