Currently there is a need for an experienced end-to-end payroll officer for a 12-month contract. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated payroll team with one of Australia's largest Not-For-Profit organisations in the health sector.

You will have experience in bulk payroll (600-3500), whilst also having the ability to field questions and solve payrolling issues such as Tax, Super, Month End and Award interpretation. Success in the role will also come from building strong relationships with internal staff & management through astute verbal and written communication, along with having a keen eye for detail and integrity.  
 
The ideal candidate is someone who isn’t afraid to put their hand up and volunteer to help out an employee with payroll queries. You must be open, friendly and energetic. This role will suit someone who loves customer service and genuinely helping others.
 
The experience we are looking for centres around:
 

• Sound knowledge of CHRIS21.
• Running large end-to-end electronic payroll fortnightly
• Working knowledge of Retail awards & legislation
• End of Month /End of Year Processes
• Compliance to set policies & procedures
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills

 
Experience using CHRIS21 is essential to the role. The right person is someone who has a professional, yet fun-loving attitude and has good interpersonal & communication skills. Based in modern offices on St Kilda Road, this role is full time (38 hours - Monday to Friday)
