The Job
As the Group Accountant you will contribute to the Finance team by providing support to the Finance manager and strong focus on monitoring of operations, projects, return of capital and investment opportunities, maintaining accounting and financial reports, transactions and understanding international tax matters to enable Tianqi to produce the highest quality and most cost-effective lithium in the world.
This dynamic, constantly changing environment needs a person who will hit the ground running, has a strong customer focus and can manage competing demands. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and pragmatic Finance professional keen to join a company with such an exciting future.
Initially working from our office in West Perth, you will re-locate to our site in Kwinana in the second half of 2018.
For success in the role, you will require:
- Certified Practicing Accountant, Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- 5 years experience in a similar role with leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills including an ability to review existing practices to identify appropriate improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate an understanding of accounting principles and strong commercial acumen
- International Tax and accounting knowledge
- Proven experience in managing complexities of large-scale operations and projects.
