Join this leading software development company, covering a maternity leave period and starting as soon as possible. Based within the heart of the city, our offices are new, ultra-modern and just a short stroll from Central Station.
Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a high performing team, the successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable
- Credit Card reconciliations
- Fixed Asset maintenance
- Inventory management
- BAS preparation
- Sales and KPI reporting
- Assistance with GL maintenance / posting journals
- Assistance with month-end close
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Well-developed accounting skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast moving environment
- Knowledge of SAP and QuickBooks is desirable, but not essential
As a successful candidate you will also have highly developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritise the workload to meet deadlines.
