The Role
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and financially astute Finance Manager to work in our corporate team assisting our civil construction business. Reporting to the Executive General Manager Finance – Construction the position is part of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for assisting the regional finance teams based in Alexandria NSW.
Your key accountabilities in this position include the following:
- Manage the financial elements of the independent project review process.
- Review a project's governance to ensure it aligns with Fulton Hogan's systems.
- Provide guidance & advice to Fulton Hogan's Finance Managers & Management.
- Share best practice learning's across all projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Contract Management System and ERP.
- Continue to define and refine the relevant accounting policies and procedures for Fulton Hogan Construction.
- Build a team based high-performance culture, which focuses on service quality, sharing knowledge and continuous improvement
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications within Accounting & Finance
- CA/CPA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
- Extensive experience in a construction, infrastructure or engineering company with onsite project experience highly regarded
- Ability to influence stakeholders and develop strong working relationships
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Experience and proficiency in JDE and a solid contractual background is desirable
