The Company

Formed over 60 years ago and operating nationally, my client has an instantly recognisable brand name. 
Due to both acquisitive & organic growth, their Sydney office is BOOMING and they require an additional Commercial Analyst to join the team.
 
Role & Responsibilities:

Working in partnership with the business and reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role spans across the Operations departments. 
You will be responsible for the production of budgets and forecasts, undertake business case evaluations, prepare data & cost Analysis and support all OPEX related projects.  You will report & track business performance trends, KPIs and provide in-depth analysis of variance. 
You will support Senior Management to drive process improvements, systems development and overall efficiencies in the reporting process. At times you will also be required to provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting for Commercial and Operations Managers.
Your key focus will be to support the business to improve both efficiency and profitability. 
  
Required skills & experience:

• CA/CPA qualified (ACCA/CIMA acceptable)
• Minimum 5 years PQE ideally with Commercial exposure
• Demonstrated experience in Financial Management and analysis and development of budgets & reporting
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Strong commercial/business acumen
• Strong analysis and presentation skills
• Experience in an FP&A environment
• Demonstrated Project Management and organisational skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Strong system skills including advanced Excel
