HB Recruitment, a premier recruitment agency servicing clients in Toowoomba and across south-western Queensland, is currently seeking an experienced Payroll/Accounts Officer for a four (4) month contract role. Thbis role can be worked part-time ie 3 to 4 days per week, if required.
The Payroll/Accounts Officer’s primary function is to provide efficient and accurate processing of seven (7) weekly payrolls across a number of industries and awards, whilst also providing general accounts duties, as follows:
- Data entry of new starts, general maintenance and terminations
- Process variations to pays and other associate employee benefits
- Respond to employee enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Process employee entitlements such as Sick Leave and Annual Leave
- Process Superannuation payments
- Award interpretation
- Accounts Payable
- Back-up Accounts Receivable
- Relief Reception
Applications should have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in payroll in a medium to large-sized organisation, and must possess a solid understanding of current legislative requirements and award interpretation. Experience with MYOB would be extremely highly regarded, and high level attention to detail is imperative to the role.
