Due to a restructure within this company in the west a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Officer has become available. If successful you will be working in a team based environment reporting into the Credit Manager performing full function credit duties as well as assisting management with financial reporting.
Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, the role of the Senior Credit Officer will give you the opportunity to work and gain invaluable experience in a reputable company in the West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own ledger of circa 500 accounts
- Account and bank statement reconciliations daily and monthly
- Banking and allocations
- Collection calls (30-40 per day)
- Investigating and resolving customer queries
- Performing credit checks and processing credit applications
- Assist with budgeting and month end reporting
- Raising credit notes and performing credit checks
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years full function credit experience
- Experience handling your own ledger
- Experience within a construction or FMCG industry highly regarded
- Prior experience using a major ERP such as SAP and JDE
- Strong collections experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
