ANZ Terminals is Australia's largest independent chemical storage company with terminals across three states and New Zealand. We deliver chemical storage solutions for both hazardous and non-hazardous products to a wide array of businesses and primary industries, for both import and export.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Head Office in Melbourne CBD.

Working as part of a small team and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will be responsible for a range of activities predominantly associated with the analysis of key commercial contracts/activities and business strategy development.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Financial modelling and analysis of commercial contracts
• Prepare detailed operational analysis and commercial insight into business
• Partner with Exec team on all aspects of project and M&A activity
• Preparation of Executive and Board papers
• Industry and market analysis

To be considered for the position, candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Law, Business or Accounting or a similar discipline
• Working experience in an industry based role or a Big 4.
• Highly developed financial modelling and evaluation skills and PPT presentation skills
• The ability to work independently as well in a team environment
• High levels of initiative and motivation  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop effective relationships with various stakeholders
• Previous exposure to Mergers and Acquisition/Strategy would be advantageous.
