Weatherbeeta Group is an Australian owned Global Equestrian Company based in Melbourne with additional offshore operations in the UK, US and NZ. Under the company umbrella is the largest Equestrian Retailer in Australia, Horseland.
To be successful in this role you will need a proven track record in the following areas: -
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts for the Weatherbeeta retail stores
- Management of store fixed asset registers
- Monthly inventory reconciliation of stores
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets for the WB retail business
- Reconciliation laybys and deposit holdings
- Ensure all the balance sheet reconciliations completed within specific timeframes.
- Preform weekly bank reconciliations
- Assist in preparation and review BAS and other statutory returns in liaison with Financial Controller
- Coordinate with the external auditors during the annual audit
- Ad-hoc reporting as requested.
The ideal candidate is required to have the following experience and knowledge:
- Degree level qualification in Accounting and Finance.
- Working towards CPA/CA qualifications
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision is preferred
- Good understanding of key Accounting concepts.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills as well as a proven ability to learn new skills.
- A commitment to providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
