Our organisation is a leading health organisation with more than 500 staff and we are still growing.
Currently, we are looking for an experienced senior payroll officer to join our team for 12 months. Based in South West Sydney, the role offers a competitive salary and flexibility.
The role:
Reporting to Human Resources and Payroll Manager, the main duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Timely & accurate processing fortnightly payroll.
- Maintaining all pay records.
- Responding to pay queries and calculating back pays.
- Processing end of year and reconciliation.
- Reconciliation of payroll in conjunction with finance.
- Administering worker compensation wage reimbursement.
- Month end reporting.
- Enterprise Agreement interpretation.
Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years experience in the end to end payroll process for more than 500 staff in Australia.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy skill.
- Problem solving skill.
- Excellent computer skill especially Excel.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working with Australian Accounting Software package is an advantage.
