The Position
With growth on the cards, we are currently looking for an experienced Financial analyst to join our team based at our head office in North Melbourne. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role is diverse in nature and will be a hybrid position between Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Business Analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Management and Financial Reporting
- Assist with the preparation of monthly BAS and Tax Returns
- Manage the Budgeting and Forecasting program company wide
- Month end close procedures including reconciliations
- Review and analyze financial data taking into account company’s business strategy
- Through analysing results, and monitoring variances make recommendations to management to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Act as the business partner to operational stakeholders
- Ad-hoc project work as and when required
About You
- Relevant industry-based experience, ideally within facilities or service based industries
- CA/CPA qualifications
- Intermediate/ advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- A terrific work ethic and a self-starter
- An inquisitive mindset and keen understand what drives the business
- Deadline-driven
