The Finance Director, will have overall responsibility for planning, directing and managing the provision of accurate, timely and objective financial data from which informed management decisions can be made. You will also be a part of the Executive Committee, and be tasked with supporting financial goals by preparing budgets and forecasts and controlling expenses to ensure compliance and financial expectations are met.

You will be required to lead, influence, and encourage the finance team and provide strong support to them while communicating the strategic goals through functional leadership.

You will be tasked with providing a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability. A large focus of this role will be around the analyses of information, forecasts sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans. You will responsible for the annual operating budget for the property and providing analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost saving and productivity opportunities for property managers. 

The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting and several years experience in a related role and proven experience in a management role, leading a team.  A post qualification in CA, Masters, CIMA or CPA is highly desirable and prior experience in hotels, events, or property sector also highly regarded. Strong budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering skills are essential. You must be extremely organised with a strong ability to multi-task and lead a dedicated team of finance professionals.
