About the Role
Due to maternity leave we are currently seeking an experienced payroll officer to join our St Marys based team 2 days a week for up to 16 months.
The role will be responsible for the processing of weekly payroll of approx. 100 staff including:
- updating and maintaining payroll records
- creating new starters
- calculation and payment of termination payments
- superannuation and long service leave administration
- producing weekly, monthly and annual payroll reports
In addition you will support the Finance Manager and the Assistant Accountant with:
- GL Accounts reconciliations
- PAYG
- Ad hoc duties as required
About You
Working within a small team you will require a great attitude, proactive approach and excellent communications skills.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum 3 years payroll experience in a similar role.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Relevant qualifications.
- JDE/Oracle experience is desirable.
