Permanent Accounts Clerk role based in Smithfield
Your new company
An exciting opportunity exists for an Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic and highly successful distribution company based in Smithfield.
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Manager your duties will include, receipting, processing credit notes, debt collection, allocations, aged trial balance reporting, processing supplier invoices and payments, account reconciliations and management of intercompany accounts. In addition you will be responsible for the aged trial balance report, attending to incoming queries and adhoc tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in a similar position previously and be capable of working effectively in a team. You will need to have strong communication skills and be able to build rapport with both colleagues and external parties. Previous experience in PEACH business software will be highly regarded along with an advance level of EXCEL.
