What's the role?

An exciting opportunity now exists to take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process.  Reporting to the Finance Manager - Transaction Services, you be responsible for the accurate processing of all aspects of the fortnightly payroll for a blue and white-collar workforce. You will work closely with the broader Finance team to ensure all journals, reporting, cash flow reports, payroll administration and month end close is completed on time to a high standard.   There is great scope to make your mark in a business with plenty of room for growth!

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you will be a self-motivated team player with a natural flair for data.  You will work with key stakeholders across the business so an ability to build relationships and communicate information effectively is integral.  You will also possess:

• Solid experience in the end-to-end payroll process
• The ability to interpret complex EBA’s is a must
• Experience with payroll system “Affinity” would be an advantage but not essential
• Advanced level in MS Excel with experience with V-lookups, pivot tables and exporting data
• Analytically minded with strong accuracy and a high attention to detail
• Customer focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of initiative and a natural curiosity
