PZ Cussons has an exciting **12 month contract** opportunity for an experience Systems Accountant Project Manager with strong Finance/IT integration experience.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely alongside the commercial functions, this key strategic role will have accountability for providing systems and financial process improvements across the business.
The role will be responsible for delivering the full potential of a newly implemented Trade Promotion System (Promax) with the SAP interface. You will use your people management skills to engage the expertise of a large number of cross functional super-users across the business, as well as updating and managing Executive Sponsors and a global steering committee.
Specifically, this role will be responsible for:
- Scoping and planning delivery of Project improvements and efficiencies of newly implemented trade Promotions system (Promax) and its’ integration with SAP.
- Documenting and Driving end-to end improvements in the promotional management tool across the business
- Assess User gaps and create work flows, design training and manage communications
- Manage 3rd party suppliers
- Monitor, document and resolve all Issue resolution
- Problem solving , root cause analysis of Promax to SAP interface issues
- Review business practices/ways of working to find business efficiencies and savings
- Financial reconciliations – Tradex and SAP reporting and reconciliation
ABOUT YOU
This is an exciting and challenging role and we’re looking for someone with drive to immediately make an impact. You are likely to already be a successful Senior Systems Accountant with great success as a Project Manager – ideally with Finance AND IT background. Whilst a deep understanding and experience with SAP is essential, familiarity with PROMAX is desirable it is not essential, other Promotional systems experience would be sufficient. You will have great influencing and communication skills and natural leadership qualities.
- FMCG experience preferred (or fast moving manufacturing)
- CPA/CA qualified (desirable not essential)
- SAP environment experience essential
- 10+ years post qualified experience
- Business Analysis/Process Improvement experience
- Systems implementation and integration (SAP and Trade Promotion System – Promax desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance and IT highly desirable
