Summary

Description
Our client is an industry leader providing services to some of the nation’s largest organizations in the mining and resources field. The head office is based in Southbank and they are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant this role will be responsible for preparing end of month close, reconciliations, processing journals, balance sheet accounts and some tax duties. Financial reporting and assisting with the annual audit will also fall underneath this role.
To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified and ideally commenced or looking to commence your CA/CPA qualification. You will have a background in a similar role and have experience with systems and excel. You will have strong communication skills and be committed to delivering to tight deadlines.
