OPERATIONS MANAGER

About the business and the role

Are you looking to make a difference, to lead an exceptional team of people, to be at the forefront of a new industry in Australia?  Our client, a progressive innovative technology business in South-Western Sydney requires an Operations Manager with passion, vision and fearless commitment. 

You'll take a hands-on approach to the operations of the business, managing a team of 20+ people across all functions of a fast-moving B2C and B2B business encompassing leadership and people management, day-to-day operations, reporting and analysis, sales & marketing. You will be required to optimise the business to achieve operational efficiency and work with the owner to establish a platform for the business to realise its growth strategy. 

You will be prepared to juggle multiple projects, process vast amounts of information and make swift yet considered decisions.  Your proactive, hands-on and inclusive leadership style will set a positive example for the team and inspire momentum towards achieving the business' goals.

Job tasks and responsibilities

We are looking to work with someone with:

  • High level commercial acumen and tertiary qualified in a business discipline.
  • Extensive previous work experience as an operations manager within a B2B environment.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Professionally represent the business to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product and web curious with ability to understand the business' products and keep abreast of emerging trends and market intelligence.
