About the Role
Our client a privately owned specialist catering company within the hospitality industry, is seeking an experienced General Manager with proven capabilities in company strategy and logistics.
Reporting to the owners this role will be responsible for ensuring the companies development and growth for expansion interstate.
About You
You will have a drive for obtaining new business opportunities, in addition to proven ability to transform a business, increase profits and market growth.
You will have proven experience in:
- Min. of 5 years’ experience in a or Tertiary Degree in a related field
- Thorough knowledge of market trends and changes within the catering industry
- Logistics and strategy from a retail food distribution or franchise background
- Delivering on COGS, P&L’s and Sales margins
- Strategically developing businesses for interstate growth
- HR management
- Compliance management
- Bidding and tender processes
- Understanding of field staff, logistics and suppliers to drive growth
- Operations management
- Understanding of how to develop in the catering market space
- Research the competition: logistics, strategy, research
