This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading luxury fashion brand. Our client is an established retailer who are seeking an experienced General Manager.
You will be highly driven, have exceptional team motivational and management skills. Your main objective will be to manage the overall brand direction and to develop a commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Setting the brands strategic direction
• Responsible for the leadership of brand, marketing and product
• Contributing to and implementing the company's medium and long term strategy plan
• Responsible for managing a commercial and desirable range and retail environment that meets sales budgets, margin targets, proposed range mix and customer expectations
• Championing the company's mission statement by promoting the desired vision, attitude and culture
• Fully responsible for P&L
• Building a credible, efficient, reliable and knowledgeable team of people
• Building the company's image and increasing brand profile
• Maximise sales and profit
• Grow the retail channel
To be successful for this role you will have:
• Have a sound understanding of design, retail, marketing and merchandising
• Effectively plan workload & prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines
• Be a clear communicator & negotiator with the ability to influence and work well with a variety of people
• Have strong leadership, management and coaching skills to develop others
• Have experience within a similar role within retail
• Commercial aptitude and trend awareness
