The Role
The Heart Foundation is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer in WA who will drive the state's leadership and strategic objectives.
The role requires collaboration with Executive and Leadership groups to achieve the organisation's strategic and operational plans whilst encouraging innovation and excellence.
Engagement with current and prospective local major donors including corporate, private, Trusts and Foundations and government are key aspects of the role.
You will be accountable for the Heart Foundation's communication representation with local external parties including:
- Government
- Media
- Supporters
- Clinical Community
- Public
The successful candidate will be accomplished in local leadership within a national footprint. You will have an understanding and appreciation of cardiovascular health as a public health challenge, and experience achieving fundraising in a competitive environment alongside sound knowledge of the not for profit sector, particularly non-government health organisations. Exhibiting proven people management skills and the ability to work effectively with Advisory Boards and Committees, honoraries and volunteers, you will also be confident speaking publicly with energy, enthusiasm and commitment, earning the respect and trust of your colleagues.
