MSDS.COM.AU, a successful Canberra-based developer of innovative web-based OHS compliance software is looking for a dedicated sales leader to further develop and lead our sales team to achieve new business sales revenues by focusing on building long term sustainable relationships with its customers and our channel partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy to deliver long-term sustainable growth for our business
  • Analyse and segment our current base in order to define and prioritise areas of focus
  • Ensure we onboard new customers, identify key vertical markets to focus and grow revenues from our existing customers
  • Recruit for vacant roles and ensure new starts are on-boarded correctly
  • Lead the team to be successful and overachieve against a defined set of targets and KPI’s, report and forecast success against these metrics on a weekly basis
  • Engage with marketing to ensure we have a detailed marketing strategy and plan for our business
  • Be a member of our company leadership team
  • Support the team with customer engagements including face to face meetings in order to build long term relationships
  • Work with the technical team in order to ensure we provide excellent service to our partners
  • Support the businesses drive to develop and grow our offering through supporting our channel partners

Key skills:

  • Experience in developing and implementing new approaches in order to drive businesses forward
  • A track record of over performance as a salesperson in a technology business
  • A track record in leading teams to over perform through setting clear objectives and ensuring accountability of all team members
  • Experience in implementing strategies to deliver growth
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A sales leader who can gain the buy in and trust of a team and business leaders and our board
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology and software industry
