AN AUSTRALIAN MANUFACTURER AND SOLUTIONS PROVIDER: Established as a business since the mid 1950’s and employing over 80 staff across Australia, our clients are one of the country’s premier manufacturers of Interior Environments and Furniture aimed specifically at the education and learning sector. With a national sales team of 13 the company are the premier supplier in the market and enjoy and excellent relationship with their customers which is focused on strong relationships and partnerships. Having enjoyed an excellent period of growth in their business the company are seeking to recruit a Client Manager to manage a defined customer base across North West Sydney.

THE ROLE: The role will see the successful Client Manager selling a range of products and solutions aimed specifically at the education and learning sector, dealing on a daily basis with schools, departments of education, universities, TAFE’s and independent colleges/academies. The role is highly autonomous and will be seen to report back to the Director of Sales and Operations whom is based from the Interstate head office, therefore the successful candidate should be comfortable in managing themselves and working under their own steam. A pivotal component of this role is managing already strong working relationships and forging excellent partnerships with your customers, in order to supply the right solutions for the desired application.

THE CANDIDATE: A strong sales pedigree is essential when applying for this role, as is a strong ability to network and build lasting client relationships; full product training will be provided, however some previous experience selling a design orientated solution or service is highly desirable, or alternatively candidates with prior experience of selling into the educational market or Government will be warmly accepted. Due to the strong training our clients will consider a broad spectrum of sales backgrounds, but a strong relationship orientated sales pedigree, with exposure to new business development and existing account management is a bare minimum when applying for this position.

In return you will be rewarded with a highly competitive package featuring basic salary of up to $85,000, Plus super, $25,000 Car Allowance, Mobile, Laptop computer.
