JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful applicant will be responsible for generating new business opportunities primarily in the Australian domestic region. 

The focus of this position is to be in regular contact with a wide range of potential Clients in our target industries. 

The purpose of this job role is to lead sales & marketing services in the Australian Region amongst potential Clients including project owners, main contractors, project management consultants and large package contractors operating in Project Development, Construction, Mining, Infrastructure, Oil and Gas industries.

The role must grow revenue, maximizing the use of Scenario software products and services.

We are looking for an independent, seasoned, Sales & Marketing Executive who strives for excellent Client relationships and maximizes revenue and Client outcomes.

The position will be based out of our major city on the East Coast of Australia (Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne) and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (based in Brisbane) & Chief Executive Officer (based in Hong Kong), and coordinate with a wider Team across our other offices.

JOB TASKS

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Revenue Generation

  • Establish Direct Revenue targets
  • Identify new projects and work to ensure these are awarded to Scenario
  • Continuously promote and qualify new product and services opportunities for all prospects
  • Provide regular reporting of leads / potential new projects to the Management Team
  • Take the primary lead on selling new projects and enterprise wide agreements
  • Prepare written presentations and proposals and product, technical, and security related responses to RFPs/RFIs
  • Review and provide feedback as needed on commercial documentation through the sales process
  • Manage process from initiation of contact with target Client through to contract signing.

Marketing

  • Rolling targeted phone, email and mail campaigns to potential Clients
  • LinkedIn campaigns
  • Manage, update and maintain potential Client register
  • Research potential Clients sufficiently (through internet and direct contact ) to vet compatibility and establish interest in our products
  • Participate in in-house training to gain sufficient base knowledge of the software capabilities to enable you discuss with potential Clients
  • Provide direct input on marketing materials, website etc.
  • Must be able to compose well written letters, particularly marketing related letters

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability to research and develop strategies that drive revenue
  • Negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of generating own leads and contacts
  • Solid commercial experience and knowledge of the sales process and effective sales techniques
  • Be self-motivated, flexible and able to take initiative
  • Ability to confidently present and articulate the business value of the Scenario product suite and platform to Managers and Executives of all levels
  • Work as a team player by contributing, learning and sharing new knowledge
  • Previous experience essential in some of our target industries would be an advantage
  • Ability to talk directly with management as well as key operational staff to establish connections
  • Preferably must have experience with IT systems, and/or packaged software applications in your past marketing, sales and business development roles
  • Previous experience selling Document Management or Project Delivery Systems like Aconex or TeamBinder
  • Projection is looking for a thorough and ‘attention to detail’ person. Must be an organised person.
  • You will be working in a team across three countries, so good fluent English communication skills is essential
  • Travel as required.
