The opportunity
  
We now have an exciting opportunity for a highly driven Technical Sales Specialist join our strategic sales team located in Rosehill.  Working closely with a team of Key Account Mangers you will be responsible for increasing the volume of James Hardie products within the builder and channel market. You will also develop key strategies and tactics to increase product growth, category share and to build close partnerships with a pool of preferred contractors to ensure continuous use of our products within the industry.
  
Key responsibilities as the Technical Sales Specialist is;
  • Increase the category share of James Hardie products into the commercial, high density and medium density and detached housing construction segments
  • Defend and deliver a pipeline of specified James Hardie product sales.
  • Deliver executable plans to increase existing and new preferred contractor relationships in Sydney metropolitan area
  • Work closely with the external market to develop and implement processes to improve the installation quality, efficiency and reduce the installation cost of our products
  • Liaise with the Principle Contractors, Site Supervisors and other stakeholders establish best practice installation standards and methods for external cladding
About you
  • Experience working in the construction industry or related Tertiary qualifications in construction management (Engineering, Architecture or Business highly desirable)
  • Previous Site Management or project management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with internal & external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to document and develop systems and processes to accelerate uptake of James Hardie products
  • Self-starter, team player and driven to achieve results
  • Highly analytical with written and verbal skills to resolve conflict and resolution
  • Ability to speak Mandarin would be highly desirable for this role to though not essential
