The Client:

Our client are a market leading supply chain company who provide a suite of supply chain and logistics services to both large corporations and SME’s. The Role:

As a key part of the Sydney team you will be responsible for the strategic account management of a portfolio of accounts in the south and west of Sydney. You will be responsible for building and managing relations with your clients from a grass roots level with the likes of a warehouse or dispatch manager, through to middle management with logistics, supply chain and procurement managers right up to C-level relations with directors. Your clients will vary from large FMCG companies to manufacturing business to the IT sector so it is important you can adapt your style to fit in with different audiences and different markets, as a result, you will gain a good understanding of the inner logistics of a variety of different sectors.  This is very much a relationship building sales process and as such you will be responsible for growing your network through attending events, functions and entertaining your clients as appropriate.

The Applicant:

You will be bright, hardworking and self-motivated. You will already have experience in managing a portfolio of accounts, strategically identifying and targeting new accounts and the solution based sales skills necessary to convert them. It is not necessary that you have sales experience within the logistics and supply chain sector although of course this would be well received. Ideally, you will come from a B2B sales background however previous top performers have come from the likes of recruitment, packaging, facilities services and FMCG key account management. You will be comfortable entertaining clients in social situations and able to attend dinners and functions in the evenings as required. Full training is provided.
