The Company

BCI Australia is part of the BCI Media Group, the leading provider of building and construction information across the Asia Pacific region with 23 offices across 10 countries and reporting on construction projects across 13 countries.

In essence, we serve as the prospecting arm as well as sales support for our clients, keeping them informed of new construction industry developments and connecting them with key decision makers such as Architects, Interior Designers and Builders. Our products and services give product suppliers and manufacturers the opportunity to speak to the right people, at the right time, with the right information.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Sydney based team in a permanent capacity. As an Account Manager you will play a key role in supporting a portfolio of clients gain success in their market.  Understanding your clients sales processes will allow you to find opportunities to grow your portfolio and ensure your clients success and renewal.  Your portfolio will consist of blue chip companies, global players, market leaders and local startups.  This is a fast paced role where you will learn something new almost every day and you will be recognized for your success. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 2-3 years' experience in previous account management or a business development role having demonstrated success in achieving sales KPI's or 
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with CRM in your day to day role complemented with a high level of computer literacy skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Client management and customer service skills
  • Own car & valid driver's license
