About Us

Naamtech is an Australian research and development think-tank supporting entrepreneurs all around the world. With several apps currently under development, and strong support from investors, Naamtech is now looking to expand its Business Development team for Smarttable. Smarttable is an application that’s changing the way customers order at restaurants, helping restaurants improve their margins by relieving pressure and reliance on floor staff.

The Role

We are looking for a highly self-motivated Business Development Manager to be a part of the growing Smarttable sales and account management team.

The ideal candidate will be able to balance acquisition of new clients and management of existing clients to ensure they are making the most out of the Smarttable experience.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, key responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting, nurturing and closing warm leads from the restaurant industry on a regular basis to set up a consistent pipeline of new business.
  • Developing excellent relationships with clients, providing support during initial implementation, onboarding, and recommendations on how to get the most from Smarttable.
  • Providing insight from the front lines on how clients are responding to the product in order to refine features and add value to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Working to set KPI's to reach pipeline and sales targets.

Training will be provided, as well as sales strategies from a highly professional and experienced team. You will be coached on the best angles to use and be supplied with warm leads as well as inbound enquiries to help you achieve your targets.

About You

In addition to a track record of sales and client management, we are looking for candidates that aspire to go above and beyond their KPIs and that can think out of the box to develop solutions that can spur further growth Smarttable as a whole. This role is designed with progression in mind, so creativity, initiative, and leadership are vital qualities for succeeding in this role.

To be considered in this role, you must:

  • Have at least 1 year of B2B experience in a customer service or outbound sales role
  • Have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuasively communicate recommendations and effectively champion customer needs
  • Be comfortable communicating with business owners via phone, email, and in person
  • Have a valid NSW driver’s license and access to a car
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
