Summary

Fleet Complete Australia is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive new business activity and grow the channel footprint for Fleet Complete products and services within the Victorian/Tasmania markets.

The successful candidate will join a high performing sales team; whom are consistently over achieving their sales and customer goals.  Crucial to this team’s success is the development and engagement of Fleet Complete’s channel relationship as a Telstra Gold partner.  The Vic/Tas RSM will have the explicit goal of growing this stakeholder network.

The ideal candidate will have good understanding of the fleet tracking and mobility industry.  Strong understanding of external partner channels will be highly regarded. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as SME (subject matter expert) in Telematics sales process alongside Telstra sales channels
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the Telematics industry and Fleet Complete products and services
  • Own the Victorian/Tas Sales and Engagement Plan to deliver growth objectives for the region
  • Manage the end to end sales prospect life cycle in order to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
  • Generating new prospect opportunities through self-generation, Telstra channel networks and other marketing activities
  • Channel managing the relationship with Telstra to secure new business for Fleet Complete, including activities such as:
    • Awareness & Engagement activities
    • Coordinating channel training programs
    • Co-Selling to Telstra Customers
    •  
  • Provide professional quotations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Ensure high quality customer engagements to drive NPS and customer satisfaction
  • Work effectively across sales & support stakeholders to achieve sales & customer outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate client and sales opportunity record’s via the Company’s CRM software application.
  • Attainment of all KPI’s set including sales targets.

Requirements & Experience

  • Previous Channel Management experience
  • Thorough understanding of the Telstra internal & external channel ecosystem
  • Ability to prospect, manage sales cycles and close business
  • Previous sales skills in the SME and Corporate environment are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully be a part of a national sales team with specific goals and sales targets.
  • Previous background in Telematics and Mobility preferred
  • Strong knowledge of solution and/or consultative selling.
  • Ability to present in front of a group and clearly articulate the product offering and value proposition
  • Strong ethic to ensure high quality customer satisfaction
  • Quality written/verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Strong desire to win and achieve goals
  • Ability and strong discipline to work remotely and unsupervised
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member in a very team oriented culture.
  • Ability to assess a challenge and determine an effective course of action with a positive end result.
