An exciting opportunity has arisen for a key account manager, reporting directly to the National Sales Manager.

Job responsibilities:

As the Key Account Manager, you will be managing your own territory defining and achieving sales objectives. Responsibilities will also include:

  • Achieving sales objectives within your chosen territory
  • Liaising with your sales team to include activities such as recruitment, training, coaching, development and motivation activities.
  • Liaising with other Account Managers to support the development of accounts within the business area.
  • Working together with channel partners and implementing different strategies for general industry distributors.
  • Managing account profitability, whilst investigating and developing new opportunities and routes to market.

What are they looking for?

The ideal client must have previous Sales experience gained from an Industrial or Engineering environment and a demonstrable experience of driving top-line growth and achieving sales targets. You will also possess:

  • Previous experience in technical or solution-based sales
  • A dynamic approach, bringing energy and passion into a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
  • A good understanding of the competitor market
