Position Title: Trade Sales Executive
Department/Section: Sales Department
Reports to: National Sales Manager
KEY OBJECTIVE
The Trade Sales Executive is an important role to provide support to our customers and licencees. They will have excellent customer service skills and a positive, professional phone manner. Preferably with experience in a trade as the job involves reading plans and providing customers written quotes. Must have a good knowledge of both general computer software and general office skills. Good maths skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES (What is required of the job)
1.To answer all incoming sales enquiries.
2. Work out quantities and provide written quotes
3. Follow up on all sales inquiries and quotes.
4. Each day for approximately 2 hours calling existing customer base to make contact and provide any assistance as to use of our products or systems and any future orders they may have. Training will be provided on what you say and how our systems and products work.
5. For each call made you will be required to log the call and details of the call. You will also be required to enter all their contact details into our CRM.
6. Responsible for sending promotional items such as samples and brochures to existing customer and possible leads.
7. You will be required to complete the Australia post paperwork and the booking of collection all mail sent each day. You will be required to update postage log.
8. Assist in verifying and updating all contact and financial information for current customers in our online software package for customers and ensure all sales leads and contact information is entered on the CRM.
9. Assist in training customers to use our online software for placing orders and tracking the progress of existing orders and tracking freight.
10. Assist resolving customer complaints and provide any assistant to the National Sales Manager on particular disputes that may arise.
11. Assist in entering customer orders into the online system to be checked by the Production Co-ordinator.
12. Assist with general correspondence with customers and the filing of customer paperwork electronically and manually.
13. Attend Tradeshows to assist in the promotion of Knotwood products
14. Assist the National Sales Manager with any task required.
REQUIRED HOURS
The position requires the position holder to work a 5 day working week from 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.00pm on Friday with ½ hour lunch break each day. (Total of 39.5 hours per week)
