Join us in this newly created position and drive our Full Service Distributor partner segment. This role has been created to ensure continued growth in the Distributor Segment and will be based from our Sydney (Kingsgrove) office. However, as you will be with our distributors seeking out opportunities we anticipate that you would be “on the road” 50% -70% of your time covering our National footprint (Brisbane, Melbourne and regional NSW travel required).   
Reporting to the Sales Manager – Distributors, your focus will be to develop joint business plans with initiatives to drive growth and support our distributors with new business opportunities and roll out strategic business initiatives. We are a total solutions partner and you will own the whole scope including claims, range expansion, pricing strategy etc. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

  • A proven track record in Business Development and Account Management with a passion to secure new business and identify opportunities within existing accounts 
  • Business to business sales experience, working within the Coffee industry, FMCG or Food Services sector (highly desirable)
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen (including the ability to discuss pricing strategy etc)
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate internally and externally as needed 
  • Outstanding ability to build relationships coupled with exemplary influencing and negotiation skills
  • Great presentation skills, professional manner and a willingness to train and share knowledge on both coffee intricacies and sales techniques 
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills with an understanding of how to interpret data and use market intelligence to drive opportunities
