We are looking for a proactive and driven Sales Operations Manager who enjoys working in a busy environment, is a confident communicator and has excellent interpersonal skills. You will provide support to the Group Executive and segment General Managers as well as developing and managing cross functional relationships with both internal stakeholders

Based in Sydney, the person will oversee management and improvement of the sales planning process for CA ANZ. Leveraging fyour natural organisational and people skills, you will :

Expert at using Salesforce

  • Act as Salesforce champion and super-user for Account Management team
  • Continually refine data, reporting and build process automation within Salesforce to improve efficiency and productivity of Account Management team
  • Develop and roll out Salesforce user training for Account Management team

Manage sales pipeline and customer data

  • Report on and analyse sales performance
  • Analyse sales pipeline data, conversion rates and sales effectiveness and provide advice on changes to priorities and sales tactics
  • Develop reports and dashboards to assist segment GMs to manage performance
  • Support Group Executive, Account Management (GEAM) by creating regular executive level sales performance reporting

Identify opportunities for future campaigns and measurement of campaign performance

  • Analyse Salesforce customer data to identify valuable target segments
  • Work with the Marketing team to understand campaign cut-through and implement learnings into future campaigns

Management of sales operating rhythm and sales forecasting and strategy development process

  • Development and management of regular sales performance, pipeline and forecasting meetings across Account Management team
  • Coordination of forecasting process working with GMs, GEAM and Finance team
  • Manage the consolidated sales strategy process across the Account Management team 

Responsible for Budget and forecast management

  • Responsibility for management of Account Management budget and forecast process in support of GEAM

Assist with Proposal management

  • Work with GMs and Marketing team to create repository of boilerplate proposal content and template proposal documents.
  • Track status of all major proposals in field

Streamline and re-engineer Contract development

  • Working with GMs, Education team and Legal to create suite of standard B2B contracts and agreement

As the successful candidate you will have a minimum of 6 years’ experience. A relevant degree in sales and marketing, management or education and training. You will have advanced MS Office skills as well have expert level Salesforce skills. Additionally, you will have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in order to meet deadlines, along with solid event planning experience.

You will bring well developed problem solving skills, be an organised and methodical thinker and possess a high attention to detail.

Your key attributes include experience in Sales Operations with excellent verbal and written communication, data analysis and presentation skills, strong relationship & stakeholder management skills along with the ability to work autonomously, flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
