This role is responsible for delivering sales and revenue growth by developing new and successful industry networks with architects, builders, designers and other key decision makers to ensure Capral are first choice supplier.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Identify and proactively follow relevant residential and commercial building projects to gain specifications
- Provide product selection and technical support to ‘Industry Specialists’ to deliver project specification inclusive of Capral products
- Deliver training modules to enhance fabricator network knowledge inclusive of Capral product range (correct applications within specification) together with respective Standards and Legislative requirements
- Monitor competitive product ranges and assess all advantages and disadvantages; and recommend appropriate upgrades / product development concepts for Capral
- Conduct product presentations and CPDs; distribute marketing collateral to promote Capral’s brand
- Manage project cycle from specification through to sale by fabricator on approved software
- Attend and provide support at trade shows and / or industry functions which may require extended periods of absence from home and / or the office
- Other key accountabilities and duties appropriate to the banding of the position as determined by the Manager of the role
Essential Skills:
- Success in a similar role within the aluminium and / or industrial / building products market
- A demonstrated understanding of Capral’s product range, technical applications and specification sales market / processes
- Technical experience and competence to support decision-making (inclusive of Industry Standards and Regulatory knowledge)
- Excellent written and verbal communication / interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence others at various levels
- Well-developed time management skills and the ability to work with a high degree of personal initiative and limited supervision
- Intermediate to advanced software application knowledge such as (but not limited to) Auto CAD, C4C, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid Australian drivers’ licence
Desirable Skills:
• Aluminium and glass fabrication experience
• Ability to read shop drawings
• Drafting, specification and / or architectural experience
