Tasks:
As a Sales and Application Engineer, you will be responsible to grow the measurement analytics Product Portfolio within focused markets.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
• Manage & grow existing client base
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
• Present new products and services to the market
• Meet sales budget for orders received and orders gross margin
• Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts to Sales Manager
• Maintain up to date customer database and all opportunities in Salesforce
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
• Tertiary qualifications in electrical, automation or related industry
• Hands-on working knowledge of the latest industrial automation technology
• Min 2 years sales/business development experience
• Existing relationships in across some/all industries- Water & Waste Water, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals Processing, Power, HVAC, Food and Beverage
• Ability to travel as required
• Experience using CRM systems & Salesforce.com
This role will ideally suit someone with strong verbal, persuasion, communication, and negotiation and writing skills. Initiative to learn and implement ideas and processes will be advantageous for this position.
