About the business and the role

We are looking for a manager that is experienced in Photography to join our high-end creative studio in the Frankston CBD.
Our studio prides itself on providing a collaborative & creative environment, allowing us to deliver some of the most beautiful and innovative work within the industry. Established for over 8 years, Studio Glamour specialises in creating high end fashion, glamour, portfolio and family photos.

Job tasks and responsibilities

As the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for managing the studio team, overseeing the workflow and maintaining monthly targets.

  • Managing stores monthly sales budgets, costs and expenses
  • Planning daily, weekly and monthly sales targets for all staff.
  • Ensuring all staff reach target KPI's
  • Manage permanent and casual staff rosters
  • Maintaining the studio in a professional manner
  • Provided monthly sales reports, profit and loss reports and target estimates
  • Store analysis of results on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Performance management of staff, including reviews, appraisals and action plans
  • Acquisition of clients on a daily basis via face to face and telephone
  • Troubleshooting of any problems that occurred within the studio i.e. lights, camera, computers

Additionally, we are looking for someone who has either:

Photography Skills

  • In depth knowledge of studio lighting
  • Experience in using Photoshop and digital retouching
  • Creating rapport and directing clients

 

Skills and experience

  • Management experience essential
  • Experience within the photographic industry or marketing
  • Strong background in sales and KPI's
  • Be a team player and an all round 'people person.'
  • Must have an ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and meet budgets
  • Have excellent organisational and planning skills, loads of initiative and a great work ethic.
  • Exceptional personal presentation
