Boral Australia is currently seeking an experienced and tertiary qualified Sales Manager to join our team. Based in Perth, and reporting to the General Manager – Concrete. In this role you will involve managing product sales throughout the Perth and WA concrete markets with an emphasis on growing the business along with building on our existing customer base.

In this key role you will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the concrete business in Perth, as well as:

  • Develop and manage a highly competent sales team to optimise performance through setting and measurement of KPI’s and sales objectives, effective communication and coaching;
  • Manage key accounts and develop/retain customer relationships;
  • Liaising with operations and technical staff to ensure that customer specifications are met;
  • Develop, implement and monitor sales and pricing strategies to achieve market leading performance, superior revenue and margin returns;
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports;
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cross product and cross divisional sales to optimise the value from our integrated business.

As the successful applicant you should have the following skills and experience:

  • A professional, energetic and enthusiastic approach, backed up by hands on experience in a similar role or industry;
  • Previous experience in managing a team of Sales professionals;
  • Well-developed understanding of sales tool methodologies;
  •  Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers;
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
