Vossloh Cogifer Australia (VCA), part of a global group, is a major railway infrastructure company providing special rail track components for the rail industry
VCA is seeking a suitably experienced technical sales person, with a rail/ heavy engineering and manufacturing background, to drive Vossloh Sales across Australia and New Zealand.
This position is based at our head office located in Castlemaine, Central Victoria, and includes extensive customer service & marketing activities.
Reporting to the General Manager you will:
- Be responsible for building and developing customer relationships
- Visit client sites to investigate requirements and develop solutions
- Provide internal and external stakeholder technical support
- Review and manage contracts, proposals, presentations and sales quotations
- Report to management regarding sales activities and business development
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in sales and communication with a range of customers including government agencies and large corporations
- Strong personal organisational skills, capable of handling in detail a number of projects concurrently
- A good technical / mechanical aptitude preferably with experience in heavy engineering, to identify and select appropriate product and application solutions.
- At least three years' proven experience in a manufacturing and / or industrial environment
- Professional communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel within Australia and potentially internationally.
- Ability to manage and administer significant projects.
- Proficient with MS-Office Suite
The following will be highly regarded:
- Engineering tertiary qualifications
- Be familiar with CAD software packages
- Knowledge of Railway Industry
