This role will be responsible for sourcing and securing new accommodation corporate accounts. Building rapport and developing relationships with prospects is key to this role. You will ideally have a strong knowledge of the hotel industry and be able to identify opportunities through contacting existing and new prospects.

It is essential you have confident communication and relationship building skills at all levels from influencer to decision maker, you will be highly motivated with a positive attitude and a fantastic sales track record.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Actively source and identify new business opportunities via phone and face to face sales calls;
- Prepare sales activity plans and timelines to increase market share for our clients;
- Develop and strengthen new business relationships
- Prepare and issue rate agreements;
- Management of all existing accounts and contracts, ensure ongoing reviews are conducted;
- Ensure you activity qualify and follow up all leads with a sense of urgency;
- Conduct site inspections for potential clients when necessary;
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports;
- Navigate and run reports within property Management systems and Salesforce for potential leads.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- Sales experience within the hotel industry is required
- Effective communicator and strong presentation skills
- Well organised - the ability to structure and execute multiple sales strategies and clients
- Self-starter and finisher - a persistent and tenacious finisher, someone who can demonstrate they have achieved their goals
- Experience in selling to corporate, group and education and health sectors

(A valid driver's license and a car is a requirement)
