Forming part of the Fletcher Building group, Taurean Door Systems is committed to creating the best quality Australian made roller doors, garage doors, panel doors, sectional doors, insulated panel doors and automatic door operators – for domestic applications. As well as roller shutters, springless shutters, industrial shutters, warehouse shutters and industrial automation – for commercial applications. 

About the opportunity

We have an opportunity for a dynamic and growth focused Business Development Manager to join our Taurean Door Systems team. As a highly autonomous and focused self-starter, you will be tasked with building our exposure, sales and influence in major NSW and SEQ building and construction markets.

As an outstanding relationship builder, you will be a key part of our customer value proposition, along with industry leading products that are manufactured out of purpose built facilities in Melbourne and Brisbane. The basis of your performance will be measured on revenue, share of wallet growth and new account activity. For the right person, this role could springboard you into significantly larger national sales roles!

About you

  • Motivation, energy and drive – a genuine passion for sales and business development! 
  • A clear sales background with experience as a Business Development Manager or similar – any industry 
  • Industrial building market experience – highly regarded however not essential 
  • A well developed and demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence 
  • A proven track record in achieving sales targets and operating autonomously 
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) – highly advantageous

Please note that as part of this role you will be required to travel by car on a regular basis to cover your territory spanning from the southern area of Brisbane to the Gold Coast and northern NSW (Coffs Harbour and surrounds). Anticipated travel is approx. 3 nights away from home per trip.
