Customer Service / Internal Sales
Immediate start - Full time position

Rydell Beltech Pty Ltd is the Australian arm of Ammeraal Beltech; a world leader in process and conveyor belting. We are seeking the services of a customer focused internal sales person in our Queensland Branch. The candidate must be well presented, have good communication skills with an eye for detail. Computer knowledge would be an advantage including SAP, but not necessary.

The role involves servicing the existing customer base as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. In this role you will be liaising with customers, preparing quotations, processing orders, completing telephone sales and assisting the sales representatives.

Also including in everyday sales duties and customer profiling is purchasing, receipting of inward goods and working closely with the workshop supervisor in the factory with controlling stock levels, plus cutting and measuring belts when required.

Product training will be provided for this challenging role, however, a proven sales track record from previous employment will be well regarded. Previous experience in conveyor and power transmission field would be an advantage.

The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting internal and external customers with inquiries both in person, over the phone and emails such as, providing quotations and pricing
  • Servicing customer inquiries by providing relevant information such as stock availability, order status and delivery details as requested
  • Review outstanding order reports, ensuring customer orders are processed and delivered in a timely manner
  • Advise customers of new products and alternative products
  • Monitor and carry out daily purchasing and stock transfer requests
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels
  • Some assistance in preparing invoices
  • Some assistance in picking, packing and dispatching of products when required

To be successful in the position, you will have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience with internal sales, sale and/or customer service roles.
  • Excellent telephone and email manner and have proven experience in a high call volume environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • The ability to work unsupervised in order to organise and complete workload in a timely manner
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook, however SAP would be an advantage
  • An energetic, self-motivated, enthusiastic person with a “can do” attitude, who is also willing to learn new products

A current Queensland drivers licence is required & working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm; however, you will be required to be on call every 4-5 weeks approx. for one week. A mobile phone will be provided.
