Sales Executive

Based in Adelaide, an exciting new position is available as Sales Executive.

A South Australian owned and operated company, we are looking for a dynamic and energetic Sales Executive to join our team. Willing to get your ‘hands dirty’, the position will be fun and rewarding to the successful candidate.

 The role
 
We have a position within our Sales Team for either an accomplished sales representative or an up and coming professional wanting to pursue a career in sales. You will look after a varied portfolio of retail customers based in the SA metro area. This role will also include some regional travel. 

Vital to the success of this role is the ability to build rapport and confidence at all levels with customers and consumers. You will need to be a confident self-starter with strong initiative and a desire to succeed in developing existing and new business.

 You will be responsible for:

• Setting up and maintenance of in-store merchandising activities at key times of the year
• Successfully managing a call cycle that covers all customers across your key retail groups
• Proactively building and maintaining effective relationships with your customers
• Selling in new product lines for some of Australia’s core household names within the retail channel
• Identifying client needs to develop growth opportunities
• Growing the business within the key accounts in your territory by executing sales and marketing strategies for all brands
• Ensuring our brands are always well presented and are in prime locations within the stores 

 Skills and Experience 
 
You will be a passionate professional who thrives in a sales and target driven environment. You will enjoy using your negotiation skills on a daily basis to influence and achieve results. In addition to this, we’ll be looking for:

• Previous sales experience in FMCG experience would be preferred although not essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to develop, maintain and grow customer relationships
• Strong communications skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• A passion for sales and achieving targets
• Basic computer literacy
• Self-starter
• Energetic
• Flexible and the ability to multi task.
• Good Time Management
• Good knowledge of the Adelaide area and industry
• Loyal and looking for a long term career
• Full car license essential
