Opportunity;
Our client is a Global leader in logistics solutions – with key service agreements across private businesses, as well as state and federal governments. They partner with some of the largest global providers to ensure all their clients’ needs are taken care of both locally and internationally. With services across land, sea, and air they are a preferred supplier to government departments as well as the defence industry.
A key opportunity has become available in their Sydney office, reporting through to the Director of Special Services. This is a pivotal role for the organisation. As the head of strategic partnerships you’ll be the point person on many national tenders ensuring key internal divisions including Sales, Procurement, Finance and Management work together to provide cutting edge solutions in a growing competitive market.
This role has a focus on both new business development and acquisition as well as relationship management of existing customers. You’ll identify opportunities to cross sell services with a focus on education and promotional activities through their extensive sales channels. You will be responsible for ensuring all relevant approvals are provided from key clients to ensure all targeted revenue, profit and service levels are achieved or exceeded.
What you’ll bring to the table;
This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the largest global players to build on their impressive client base and have a direct impact on profitability and growth. The ideal candidate will have worked across high security businesses previously and have operated at a senior level working with all levels of government and defence providers. You will have exceptional influencing skills as well as the ability to identify and map key business opportunities. Experience within a sales, BD or relationship development role is a must.
