National distributor with innovation and proven products seeks a proven sales engineer to maximise growth through selling key solutions into the Victorian industrial markets. With a small but professional team here in Melbourne plus ongoing training with the leading OEM brands the company's focus is making sure you're up to speed with the best knowledge on the market so may deliver the best solution for key customers.
This role when starting will be 80% new business and 20% account management, with the markets becoming more and more competitive you must be willing to think outside the box but also have your finger on the pulse. You will be trained by the internal team in how to attract but also follow through with new business. You required to cold call, knock on doors and build upon your already established territory.
Each sale will be come down to your knowledge around industrial equipment market, so estimating the sale whilst covering product selection and key specifications is crucial. Then working with the internal application engineering in supporting your tender and making sure you put the best price forward. Your communication skills along with your eye for detail and your ability to close through application solution support is the key to your success.

On offer is base component of $65 - $75,000 + a fully maintained company car + 9.5% superannuation. With bonus structure worked around each completed sales you could earn in excess of another $12 – 16k bonus. With full training and development plus ongoing career advancements this position can see you grow internally with the company.
