Hey Tom is an Australian Airbnb property management company founded in 2016. We're are startup operating in a new industry but have established ourselves as one of the main players for Australia in our space.
Currently our operations span, NSW, VIC, QLD and TAS but we're growing fast!
To assist with achieving our national growth ambitions looking for a high performing Account Manager to join the team.
Position Overview:
Hey Tom is after an experienced Account Manager to join our head office team. The Account Manager will proactively manage relationships with Hey Tom’s clients and direct property managers as required to ensure smooth communication to clients and delivery of our services. The Account Manager is the interface through which our clients interact with the organisation.
Salary:
$65,000 -$75,000 p.a. + Profit Share + Superannuation
Major Areas of Responsibility:
The main business areas that the Account Manager is responsible for include (but is not limited to):

Proactively managing communication with Hey Tom’s clients (including inbound and outbound communication)

Govern the on-boarding process of new clients

Communicate with property managers to ensure clients' specific wishes are executed for their properties

Manage availability of calendars

Maintain accurate property related records

Manage the monthly reporting process

Govern the offboarding process

Additional tasks from time to time as required by management
Primary Objectives:

To enhance relationships with Hey Tom clients to ensure longevity

Retain clients and properties to Hey Tom’s rent roll
-
Identify and nurture opportunities to grow Hey Tom’s rent roll with existing clients
Working Environment:
Hey Tom is a young and rapidly growing organisation with a dynamic work environment. We are still a startup so it is expected that the Account Manager is adaptable and can work with a certain degree of flexibility. In practice this may mean the Account Manager is called upon to assist with tasks outside their normal scope of work and there is the opportunity for them to grow and help have a meaningful impact on the future of the business.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Superb people skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships with a diverse set of customers

Demonstrated ability to enter new environments and quickly adapt

Demonstrated ability to direct/coordinate teams to deliver projects

Familiarity with basic accounting processes and strong attention to detail

The ability to learn and master various software quickly
Education and Experience:
-
University degree (Bachelor’s degree or higher)
-
Minimum two years graduate experience in Account Management, Sales or a similar role
-
Experience as an Airbnb Host (a plus)
-
Real Estate Experience (a plus)
