The Role
Our large and successful Trade Sales Team is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Trade Sales Representative to service and develop our existing customer base from the Gold Coast to Brisbane South, QLD. Backed by one of the best distribution teams in the business and servicing a buoyant market, the role involves account managing a strong existing customer base with emphasis on business development and sales growth.
A key focus will be customer service excellence and winning new business. Your typical customer will be down to earth and will want someone who can deliver on what they say.
In this fairly autonomous role you will have the skills to relate to a diverse range of customers from sole traders to large painting businesses. You will enjoy creating lasting professional relationships with stakeholders in existing trade customers and winning new business by achieving agreed targets.
Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Experience in a high performing territory management role
- Successful sales background
- Strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Strong computer literacy
Please note, previous experience within the paint & coatings industry is desirable but not essential.
